The Jackson County Planning Commission was slated to hold a hearing on the change this Thursday, but the county's planning department rescheduled the hearing for Oct. 16 because of a mistake in the legal advertising for the application, said Frank Ethridge, the county's zoning director. Because of the size of the project, Jackson County planners were required to submit the plan to the Northeast Georgia Regional Development Center for review as a development of regional impact.
