I wish the Court were more active in limiting the scope of the "interstate commerce clause" in order to limit the ever-growing regulatory apparatus. The Court went from viewing the interstate commerce clause as requring an activity to be moving in interstate commerce before Congress could regulate it, to Congress being able to regulate activities affecting interstate commerce, and finally to Congress being able to regulate anything.
