EDINBURG A decision on whether to shut down a number of Hidalgo County bail bonding companies was postponed another six weeks Tuesday, following continuing objection from bondsmen regarding the accuracy of county finance records. Hidalgo County Judge s office, which occupies a seat on the Hidalgo County Bail Bonds Board, voted against the move, claiming records clearly showed 11 companies had exceeded their bonding limits with the county.
